Why The Genius??

OK, so not that many of you really care, but I do get asked, "Why The Genius?" It is actually pretty funny, and not necessarily related to my intelligence, or lack thereof. Back in the stone age, when I was a pledge at the SAE house at Vanderbilt University, we were required to bring in all of our test results to show the active members to prove that we weren't slacking off during pledge training. Since I pledged during my second year, I was taking some pretty advanced Electrical Engineering courses compared to my Freshman pledge brothers. Well, during lunch one day I brought my 90% (ish?) grade on a EE200 level class which of course couldn't even be remotely understood by my non-engineering fraternity brethren, which prompted much derision and shouts of, "He's a fricken Genius!" Needless to say that to this day my brothers still use the moniker, in which of course I take much pride! My children like to call me a geek, but I personally like Genius better...
