There are certain times in your life when you get that punch in the gut that says, you aren't 20 (or 30, or 40!) anymore. Last week I got that sucker punch again. I got to watch my daughter look around at my alma mater (Vanderbilt) as a potential candidate for her college experience! For those with daughters - How weird is it to walk by your own fraternity house where you behaved like the juvenile that you were, and have the actives try to get your daughter and her friend to stop by??? Fortunately she is more mature than I will ever be and handled herself like the amazing kid she is. What a beautiful future she has ahead and I am now REALLY excited to see what path her next chapter of life will take.
