Clerihew? Geshundheit!

I really enjoy reading those talented folks on the Internet who are so creative and always have something to say with incredible clarity and wit. Besides this month being National Hamburger Month and on May 15th we celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, we are encouraged to write and submit our "Clerihews" for public ridicule to the Pensieve. Curses to you Brandon Satrom for your writing which causes me to want to write for myself!

OK, OK, I am game. I hope these are so bad that they are inherently humorous. Of course that is the purpose of a Clerihew anyway! To carry on the Mother's Day theme put forth by many so far, my first is in honor of the woman who bore me who is now a fine mountain woman of Florissant, CO:
Vicki Kallet
Married in Phoenix but chose a mountain climate
Paul Bunyan to the max
She wields a mighty mean axe!
And one for the fantastic mother of my children:
The lovely Donna Rohde
Wears her heart on her sleeve, not at all toady
Never struck her children, not even one bit
Though she loves to inflict pain by popping a zit
And one more, because this is addictive and I am having fun writing them!
George Bush
Some think his brain is mush
It is an impossible job, being the "Prez"
I think he would look fabulous wearing a fez

How's that for amateurish???

Jim! I loved these. The zit one made me cringe, as was probably intended. :)

Love the GW fez one too! Great entries in my book!

GLAD you were game, Jim! You're right...these ARE inherently (insanely) humorous. How can I say "nice job", though, when you're waxing poetic about zit poppin'??? ;)

j/k

You conjured up some mighty memorable images...and spot on clerihews!
